Take credit card payments online and in the office
We’ve developed the technology that provides you the ability to take Mass intentions requests online, via your own parish website, and supports credit card payments at checkout from any device—computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Pay for Mass Intentions, Memorials, Misc. Offerings, Donations, Room Fees, Sacramental certificate requests, Unannounced Mass requests, Pre-Paid Mass Intentions, Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, and Quinceañeras.
We’ve partnered with Fiserv, a First Data / FiServ company, to provide the financial gateway and merchant processing at a discounted rate:
- $15 per month non-profit fee
- 1.5% debit card fee
- 3.5% credit card fee
- $0.20 transaction fee
- NO annual fee!
- NO PCI compliance fee (an annual survey must be completed)
Multiple Intentions for Masses
Our software supports those parishes authorized to take multiple intentions per Mass. The number of intentions accepted for each Mass is set when the yearly calendar is created. The maximum intention limit can be changed easily for any Mass in the system. A bulk-change tool is available if more than a few Masses need to have this setting adjusted.
Set intention limits, and take advantage of built-in locking and override options for flexibility when needed.
Authorized users can override maximum limits and adjust the number of intentions for individual Masses as needed.
Ministry Scheduling
Scheduling module provides users with tools to solicit, manage, track, schedule, and communicate with all of their volunteers. Set up your ministry areas, assign group leaders, members, and preferred times, then see how much easier volunteer management will get!

Integrated Facility Room Scheduler
Easily manage your parish meeting schedules, facility reservations (and associated fees), and resource allocation. These components all come together in a calendar view, allowing your parish ministries to reserve rooms and resources for meetings and other activities. Create rooms, groups, and lists of amenities, and get all of your parish events onto your Facility Calendar. This module is designed to interact with the Mass schedule portion of our system. Parish Masses, confessions, and celebrations in the Church, Chapel, and School will automatically reflect on your facility schedule each day. Our integrated room validation process helps you find and resolve scheduling conflicts before they become problematic.

Celebrant Stipends & Payment
Permanently Assigned and Visiting Celebrants and Deacons can be added to your Celebrant database for easy assigning to Masses, Confessions, Sacraments, and Celebrations. Schedule right from your Celebrant calendar or assign in bulk using our Celebrant/Stipend tool. Include Sacraments and Celebrations on the Celebrant calendar, and your ordained staff will have one central location to check the parish schedule. You can take it to the next level and generate personalized calendars for each of your celebrants.
Stipend Auto-Adjudication Module
Easily manage stipends for Permanent, Visiting, and In-Residence Celebrants. This module will help to automate the process and allows for assignment by offering, a set rate per Mass, or a flat monthly rate. Includes options for mileage, honorarium, combination, Reconciliation, and Concelebration. Once your parameters are set, and your scheduling is done, the financial reports can automatically be populated.
No longer will your business manager or financial staff have to track down all of the Masses, find the celebrant who celebrated the Mass, determine if a visiting celebrant presided, what the contract rate, mileage, honorarium fee should be paid. Just enter a date range to see what monies come from the stipend account or another operating account. Just imagine the time this module saves; and saving time equals saving money!
Celebrant Contact Information
This module also provides a contact information repository for all of your celebrants. Name, address, email, and phone number are all accessible in one location.
Maintenance Management
The Parish Management Software Maintenance Scheduler allows staff members to create maintenance requests and even include photographs of the issue. Entering an issue will trigger notification emails to be sent out to applicable staff. The request is then viewable on the active issue list and can later be assigned to the chosen vendor to address the situation. The system will allow parish staff to keep track of the necessary “fix” details at every step until the request is marked as “closed.”
Features & Functions
- Record the location of the issue along with a description of the problem at hand. Describe the issue and attach a picture if desired. Assign a priority level and designate in-house staff or an outside vendor. Document the steps taken to address the maintenance issue at each step in the process.
- Build a complete database of all your vendors, which includes contact information. Vendors can be organized by category.
- View Open/Closed Requests to track both current and completed issues.
- Designate users to receive notifications when the status of a maintenance request changes. Email updates can be sent to the requestor.

Sacramental Certificate Requests
This program tracks the request from receipt to completion, including any payments required to process the certificate; all integrated into our financial reporting system.

- Who the certificates are issued to
- What certificates are requested; a single entry can contain multiple requests
- The payment requested
- The payment type received
- What staff member received payment

- Show your open, in-progress, and completed requests. You can also retrieve any completed/archived request with the module’s own search facility.

Private Masses / Chapel Masses / Unannounced Masses
This module tracks intentions offered and said by priests during their private Masses. The system tracks the offering, calculates the number of intentions the offering requires, prints the intention sheet for tracking the intentions said, records the available and used intentions, and integrates it into the financial reporting, including the auditor’s report.
Prepaid Intentions
Capture, track, use, and report any offerings received in various ways.

This tool integrates with all our financial reports and allows your parish to selectively use a portion of the funds for offerings assigned to a Mass date and time of your choice.
The reporting feature of prepaid intentions allows for tracking the amount received, the date it was used, and the Mass it was assigned to and provides a comprehensive report for the estate or probate, if required.
Visitation Manager
This MIO scheduling tool helps the parish manage individual and group visits for homebound or hospitalized and the faithful in facilities.
Assign individual ministers or priests, or groups with a combination of both.

Special Intentions
Similar to Mass Intentions, except these are valid for one week or month and export to the bulletin export view. The intentions are recorded with an end date set and provide a receipt for the requestor. They automatically “archive” after the “end date.” Archived intentions can always be viewed with a single click. This module integrates into the financial reports and exports to the parish bulletin.
Custom Reports
We have developed a tool that will allow you to create any custom report starting with Celebrations/Events, Offerings/Payments received, and Outstanding Offerings and fees.
Report Type: Select the category which best reflects the report you wish to create:
- Celebration/Event Report – Non-financial reports for Masses, Celebrations, Memorials, Confessions, Meetings (Facility Scheduling module only), and Misc. Events.
- Offerings/Payments Received – Financial reports for Mass and Memorial Intentions, Celebrations, Meeting Room Rentals, and Additional Donations.
- Outstanding Offerings/Fees – Generates lists of offerings and fees owed to the parish. This report type is not dependent on an entered date range. The resulting report will include any monies currently owed to the parish from the selected desired categories.
Each category selected has its own set of selection criteria, of which subcategories may appear for even more specific results. Choose one or more field categories to reveal additional options that may apply to the generated report.
This module interacts with any module your parish uses in MIO; if it’s installed for your parish, the more choices you have for creating custom reports.
Once you create a report and are happy with the selections, just name it and save it to use again later, saving you time and returning your results even faster.
